With Mother’s Day around the corner, we want to take a moment to brag on our incredible Smartt Steps moms. Forget the drama-filled reality TV version of Dance Moms—here, our moms are all about support, encouragement, and teamwork.
Passing on the Love of Dance
Many of our moms know the dance world firsthand—from dancing in college to performing professionally. One was a Radio City Rockette, another danced and coached for the Minnesota Vikings Dance Team and several competed at high levels and now cheer on the next generation.
They get the pressure of performing and appreciate the hard work their kids put in. They are actively passing on the passion and love of dance to the next generation.
Juggling Dance & Sports & All The Activities
Our moms are the ultimate multitaskers—bouncing between football, baseball, and dance. They make it work by:
- Carpooling to help each other out.
- Fixing hair and costumes for competitions.
- Cheering on every dancer, not just their own.
Competition with Class
At Smartt Steps, we teach dancers to compete well—and our moms set the example. They support their kids while keeping dance in perspective, helping dancers win with grace and lose with dignity.
Showing Love to Our Staff
Our moms don’t just support their kids—they lift up our teachers too with:
